With a background in fine art and graphic design, I've always been drawn to visual expression as a way of making sense of ideas, emotions, and spaces. Studying digital design taught me how to think visually, but more importantly, it helped me understand how minimalism can hold the most weight.
I have been running zstudio since 2023, out of a studio in Rutherford, New Jersey. I design every print here and run them off on our own press, so if a copy comes out wrong it does not go in the box.
From an idea to your wall

I spent years designing for others, refining their visions. While that work shaped my technical hands, I slowly felt a need for something more grounded. I wanted to create objects that weren't meant for a screen, but for the walls of a home, objects that could be experienced in a quieter, more lasting way.

Everything here is open edition, so nothing is numbered and nothing gets retired to make you hurry. A bold colour, a favourite place, a few words that stay with you: every piece offers a different way to make a room your own.
